Statement by the Nowogrodziec Municipality concerning provincial road no. 357 (Lubańska Street)
The Nowogrodziec Municipality informs that it is not the owner of provincial road no. 357 running along Lubańska Street in Nowogrodziec. The owner of the road is the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, while its ongoing maintenance is the responsibility of the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service (DSDiK)
The municipal office adds: – Due to the lack of a legal basis and financial resources, the Nowogrodziec Municipality is unable to incur expenses related to the repair and maintenance of the road section in question.
It also emphasizes that DSDiK was informed of the damage: – On July 15, 2025, an on-site inspection was held with the participation of DSDiK representatives. However, no repair work has been undertaken to date.

In view of the safety of Nowogrodziec Municipality residents and all road users, and at the special request of Joanna Świder, Mayor of Nowogrodziec, temporary protection of the damaged area in the form of vertical warning signs was provided by the contractor responsible for the ongoing maintenance of municipal roads.
