District officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters arrested a 54-year-old man who was in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine and was also connected with numerous thefts at various retail establishments. Officers: – Over the past four months, the man committed a dozen or so thefts, including five brazen ones. He claimed that he did not scan the goods because he was not a cashier.

In mid-July, he robbed the same drugstore three times in a single day, taking products worth more than 20,000 zlotys in total. The Headquarters:

Security camera footage showed that the 54-year-old approached a shelf and took all the cosmetics on it, packing them into a backpack or bag.

Over four months, he stole goods worth more than 50,000 zlotys, a significant portion of which consisted of drugstore products. In 2025, officers from the Investigative Department have already concluded two proceedings in which the man was proven to have committed 14 thefts.

The suspect was charged with a total of 18 offenses, including 17 relating to crimes against property.

The Bolesławiec court granted the prosecutor’s motion and ordered the 54-year-old held in pretrial detention for two months. As the 54-year-old is a repeat offender, he faces up to 12 years in prison.
