The incident occurred before 1 a.m. between Sunday and Monday. A trailer parked at 7a Staroszkolna Street in Bolesławiec burned down completely. A witness to the incident says they saw someone first break the trailer’s window, then pour in some substance and set it on fire. A passenger car parked next to it was slightly damaged.
A municipal surveillance camera is installed on a nearby building. On Monday, we will find out what it recorded and whether the footage will help apprehend the perpetrator.
The trailer had stood unused in the parking lot for at least several years. Perhaps someone became annoyed that it was taking up space.
