The driver, a 59-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, was drunk. He had over 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. He was arrested and faces up to 3 years in prison.
Police officers determined that the incident occurred because the man failed to yield the right of way.
The incident took place on Friday afternoon on Generała Nila Street in Bolesławiec. The driver of a Mercedes left the road and ended up in a ditch. As we were able to establish, no one was seriously injured.
What caused the incident? The police are investigating the matter.
