The incident occurred on 5 July. At 3:53 a.m., firefighters from Trzebień were dispatched to a road accident on the A18 motorway, at kilometre 71 in the direction of Wrocław.
When the emergency services arrived at the scene, they saw a wrecked car. But the driver himself... had disappeared.
The police are investigating the case. It is already known, however, that the vehicle had previously been rented by a foreign national.
