Emergency services, including paramedics, firefighters and police officers, as well as a forensic technician, responded at the scene. Initial findings indicate that the 18-year-old, who was on the railway track, was hit by a train. The injured man was transported to a hospital in Bolesławiec, where he received medical assistance.
Police remind the public that crossing railway tracks in places not designated for this purpose is prohibited. People who illegally cross the tracks or use railway infrastructure without the required authorization expose themselves to a fine or court proceedings.
Above all, it should be remembered that the presence of unauthorized persons in railway areas, as well as crossing the tracks in places not designated for this purpose, is dangerous and poses a threat to people’s lives and health.
