The incident occurred on June 27. KP PSP Jawor:

(…) at around 4:00 p.m., the Jawor firefighters received a report about a young stork that had become tangled in cords on the chimney of a property in Sady Dolne. The bird was approximately 20 metres above the ground and was unable to free itself.

They added: – Despite the difficult conditions created by the dense buildings and farm infrastructure, the SHD-25 aerial platform operator managed to position the equipment precisely, enabling two volunteer firefighters to reach the trapped bird.

The young stork was carefully freed and safely returned to the nest.

The uniformed officers summed up:

According to witnesses, the stork’s mother gratefully clattered her beak, perhaps to thank them for the help they had provided.
