An email from residents of Bolesławiec came to our editorial office:
We are a couple from Bolesławiec and for months we have been fighting for the lives and health of our animals – two dogs and three cats. All of them are seriously ill and require regular visits to specialists, procedures and medication. There are not enough suitable doctors in our city, so several times a month we travel to clinics as far as 100 km away.
We have done everything to give them a chance – we have taken out loans, pawned our belongings and are living on the brink of survival. Everything we have goes toward their treatment and travel expenses. Today, we do not even have enough for food or bills.
We are running two fundraisers – one is for treatment, while the other covers our everyday living expenses with them (fuel, food and necessities). Unfortunately, without sufficient reach, neither is producing enough. Less than a month remains until the next operation, and we are still short of more than 7,000 zlotys.
