On Thursday, June 19, district officers from Lwówek Śląski, while patrolling the Skorzynice area, noticed a dirt bike travelling without a registration plate. Police headquarters: – When they tried to stop the vehicle for a check, the driver ignored the light and sound signals and then fled along a dirt road.

The officers immediately began a pursuit in a police car. Thanks to their quick reaction and good knowledge of the area, the fugitive was apprehended moments later.

It turned out that the 35-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County had quite a lot on his conscience:

  • He did not have a licence to ride a motorcycle.
  • He was wanted to serve a six-month prison sentence.
  • He had a packet of methamphetamine on him.
  • He was under the influence of intoxicating substances – a test detected methamphetamine, amphetamine and marijuana.

The man was detained and placed in a police cell, where he was charged. He was then taken to detention, where he will serve the sentence imposed.
