She called us a reader, suggesting that we look into the pedestrian crossing by the bridge on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec. The woman was returning home on the night from Thursday to Friday:
This crossing is completely unlit. The lamp above the crossing is either on or off.
The woman who reported the issue waited a long time to cross to the other side of the street. Drivers did not stop to let her pass. In her view, this was simply because they could not see her.
– Children cross there, and lots of people cross there – she argued. – It may not be the biggest problem in Bolesławiec, but it is very dangerous there.
She added that this issue is a nuisance for many local residents.
