The incident occurred on June 10, before 9:00 p.m., at the intersection of Piłsudskiego and Moniuszki streets in Legnica. An ambulance responding with emergency signals collided there with a Volkswagen car.
Officers: – Preliminary police findings indicate that the ambulance driver, traveling along Żołnierzy II Armii Wojska Polskiego toward the hospital, collided with a VW vehicle that was leaving al. Rzeczypospolitej toward Moniuszki Street.
Three people from the ambulance, including the patient being transported, were taken to hospital. Both drivers were sober.
Police are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for caution and prudence on the road.
