Bolesławiec traffic police arrested an intoxicated driver following a civic arrest. The police command: – A resident of Warta Bolesławiecka commune took action because he saw that the motorcyclist was behaving dangerously on the road, putting other road users at risk.

The reporting party turned around and followed the motorcycle, deciding to stop the rider. During the conversation, he smelled alcohol on the motorcyclist and heard profanities directed at him, so he prevented the intoxicated man from leaving the scene and called a police patrol.

As it turned out, rightly so. The officers: – A breathalyzer test conducted by the officers showed nearly 2.5 per mille of alcohol in the 40-year-old man’s system. The resident of Bolesławiec County had his driving licence retained. In addition, the motorcycle did not have a valid technical inspection, so the police also seized the vehicle’s registration certificate.

The police command concludes: – We commend the resident of Warta Bolesławiecka commune for his vigilance, courage and decisive action!
