Legnica traffic police stopped the driver of an Audi for a road check. – At the wheel was a 29-year-old man. During the identity check, officers noticed the driver's unnatural behavior; he was clearly agitated and nervous – reports asp. szt. Monika Kaleta from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – The police decided to conduct a drug test, which confirmed their suspicions. The test result was positive and detected the presence of methamphetamine.
Even more frighteningly, the vehicle also contained a female passenger—the man's pregnant partner—as well as an 18-month-old child.
Officers: – The 29-year-old's behavior must be described as extremely irresponsible and putting not only himself but, above all, his loved ones—his unborn child, young child and partner—at serious risk. Driving a vehicle under the influence of narcotic substances is a crime punishable by up to three years in prison.
The court will decide the driver's future.
