A4 motorway renovation—we know which section. Cost: PLN 1.4 million. DISRUPTIONS EXPECTED

As reported by the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways:

The contract for renovating the concrete surface of the A4 motorway on the Krzyżowa–Krzywa section and in the area of the Mikołajowice interchange has been signed. The contractor is SAT from Oława, which will carry out the work for more than PLN 1.4 million.

Road manager:

The contractor’s task is to design and carry out the renovation or replacement of damaged concrete slabs on the A4 motorway on the Krzyżowa–Krzywa section and in the area of the Mikołajowice interchange.

What will be done?

The work will include, among other things, removing the existing surface where concrete slabs are cracked, renovating and replacing the surface, and restoring drainage elements. In addition, the shoulders will be repaired and horizontal road markings restored.

When will the work begin?

The contractor has 55 days from the date of signing the contract to complete the entire task, including preparing and approving the documentation and restoring full traffic flow. The roadworks and associated disruptions on the motorway’s main carriageway will last no longer than 19 days.
