Visitors to the Bracka Tower called rescuers when they noticed a young boy sitting astride the battlements of the 45-metre tower.
Witnesses reported:
He was there with a friend and two girls; he wanted to impress them. He climbed onto the battlements and even showed people the middle finger. The girls ran away, but he stayed.
Firefighters brought the young man down from the tower. Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
