Please publicize the disappearance of the recycling containers on Konradowska Street. The communal containers disappeared two weeks ago, and to this day people have nowhere to put their sorted waste.
We asked Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej Sp. z o.o. in Bolesławiec for comment on the matter.
Here is MZGK’s response:
Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej Spółka z o.o. in Bolesławiec, in response to your inquiry, informs you that the reason for removing the containers for sorted waste (communal) from Konradowska Street was the frequent leaving beside them of post-renovation waste, unsorted waste, hazardous waste, etc. (photo attached), which contributed to the formation of illegal dumps.
At the same time, we inform you that, in accordance with the “Regulations for Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in the City of Bolesławiec,” owners of properties in single-family housing are required to carry out separate waste collection individually—by separately collecting municipal waste on their property in containers or special bags adapted for this purpose.
Residents receive bags for individual types of sorted waste (blue, green and yellow) as part of the fee for municipal waste management paid to Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec.
The containers from Konradowska Street were removed in consultation with Urząd Miasta Bolesławiec.
