On Monday, March 14, Ludolfinki—the celebration of the number π (called ludolfina in Polish, in honor of Ludolf van Ceulen, a Dutch mathematician who calculated the value of this number to 35 decimal places at the beginning of the 17th century)—was held at the Józef Piłsudski School Complex in Nowa Wieś (Nowogrodziec municipality).

The celebration was organized by second-year middle school students under the supervision of Agnieszka Sadowska and Artur Kril. As part of Ludolfinki, among other activities, a relay race was organized in which each competitor had to run 31.4 meters. A quiz devoted to ludolfina was also held that day.
