The railway overhead line between Legnica and Malczyce was damaged. Passengers, without any specific information, were stranded at Legnica railway station.
Information for passengers was scarce. A crowd of people got off at Legnica railway station, where the train to Wrocław terminated.
On the train, passengers heard an ambiguous announcement about an overhead-line failure and transferring to a bus. Then the train staff disappeared, while railway employees approached at the station remained tight-lipped.
Finally, the confused passengers went outside the station, where a single bus had been provided, without any information about where it was going.
After a few minutes, a female conductor appeared, but the bus was already overcrowded. It turned out that it was going straight to Wrocław without stopping along the way.
The next bus went only to Malczyce. No one provided any information. The passengers were very upset, especially since there was no way to load large pieces of luggage. There was complete chaos. No one told the passengers how they were supposed to reach their destination.
The confused travelers described the situation as a scandal, an unserious situation and a complete lack of organization.
