A graduate of the Technical School at the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych im. majora Henryka Sucharskiego in Bolesławiec has decided to take the matura exam 20 years after finishing school. – It has been my dream for a very long time – admits the woman from Bolesławiec, who runs her own business. – Due to my family situation, I did not have the opportunity to take this exam earlier.
The idea of taking the matura exam began to take shape a year ago. She prepared for the exam with the help of tutors. As she admits herself, English was her biggest problem.
She approached the matter very conscientiously. For example, she had the opportunity to go to Croatia for the May holiday, but decided to devote that time to her final revision.
She left the Polish exam satisfied. She said that she had felt stressed, but certainly not as much as the students. – I am doing this only for myself, to fulfill my dream – she emphasizes.
She also emphasizes that passing the matura exam will not be something that redefines her life. However, she does not rule out continuing her education at a university.
She also has an appeal to young people: they should take the matura exam at the appropriate time. If they do not, they may regret their decision for a long time afterward.
