As established by officers from Bolesławiec, the driver of the Fiat, a 45-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, improperly carried out a lane-change maneuver, as a result of which she hit an Audi.
Fortunately, no one suffered more serious injuries. The woman responsible was fined PLN 1,500.
Those involved in the incident were sober.
The incident occurred on May 1, before 10:00 p.m., at the 56th kilometer of the A4 motorway toward Zgorzelec. Two cars collided there.
Police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for prudence and caution on the road.
