On Sunday, 27 March, International Theatre Day will be celebrated. On this occasion, Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury im. Stanisława Wyspiańskiego in Bolesławiec invites everyone to a theatrical fête. The theatre celebrations will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a performance by Teatrzyk Świetliki from Parowa entitled “The Ant and the Grasshopper” (the director of the performance is Alicja Drozd). Then we will see the performance “There Is Nothing to Fear,” directed by Katarzyna Pranić. It will be performed by members of Teatrzyk Słowa of the MDK Literary Workshops.
The second part of the Theatre Day celebrations will open with a happening by Tygrys Ogłuszony Domem entitled “The Reality of These Things” (TOG is supervised by Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz). It begins at 5:00 p.m. Next, Grupa Działań Twórczych „Skins” will present the choreography “Summoning Summer.” At 5:40 p.m., the performance “Stuffy” will be presented by Teatr Sztampa from Wrocław, and at 7:00 p.m. the performance “Four Mirrors,” performed by the group Sakura Marginis, will begin. The celebrations will conclude with a fireshow by Garuda fire theatre.
