An Unusual Sight in the Sky over Two Counties

Gliders were circling. Readers report that gliders were seen over Kierżno, Nowa Wieś Zebrzydowska, Osieczów, Kraśnik Dolny, Krzyżowa, Gromadka and Wierzbowa (Bolesławiec County), as well as over Węgliniec (Zgorzelec County). Some counted a dozen of them, while others counted more than 20.

I live near the shop in Nowa Wieś Zebrzydowska. Looking towards the telecommunications pole located on the right-hand side when travelling from Zebrzydowa to Tomisław, you can clearly see 10 gliders manoeuvring. Most likely, these are gliding lessons (...).

After flying over our voivodeship, the gliders continued over Lubusz Voivodeship.
