Police officers from the station in Nowogrodziec and the post in Osiecznica made a series of arrests last week involving people who had committed various violations of the law. Bolesławiec police headquarters: – From Wednesday to Sunday, officers arrested as many as 7 men.
The officers list them:
- Community police officers identified and arrested two wanted individuals; one of the men was taken to prison for 9 months because he had a sentence to serve for driving while intoxicated.
- In the Nowogrodziec municipality, a 42-year-old man from Bolesławiec was arrested for driving despite 3 decisions revoking his driving privileges. (This offense carries a penalty of up to 2 years in prison).
- A resident of Lwówek County got behind the wheel while disregarding two court bans; he faces up to 5 years in prison.
- The third traffic offender was a 49-year-old man who rode a moped despite a ban on driving a motor vehicle and a decision revoking his driving privileges.

The next two men arrested by community police officers on the roads of the Nowogrodziec municipality were fans of two-wheelers. The 53-year-old was cycling with more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his system, while the 59-year-old was riding a moped with 0.8 per mille of alcohol in his system.
