A resident of Bolesławiec County who was wanted on a warrant for drug-related offenses has been arrested. He was sent to prison for at least 2 years and 4 months. As the Bolesławiec police explain:

After being arrested by officers from the police station in Kruszyn, the man was taken to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, where he was charged with additional drug-related offenses. The evidence collected as part of proceedings initiated in 2021 made it possible to prove that the suspect had supplied methamphetamine at least 39 times and possessed narcotic substances.

The offender had previously served a prison sentence for similar offenses, which is why, as a repeat offender, he now faces up to 15 years in prison.

History of conflict with the law

Officers: – Four years ago, the resident of Bolesławiec County was arrested by officers from the Kruszyn Police Station, who at the time seized a significant quantity of drugs from him.

The 42-year-old left the country for fear of the consequences. Despite the passage of time and the suspension of the case, officers continued to regularly check whether the suspect had returned to Poland.

Moreover, the District Court in Bolesławiec issued a warrant for the arrest of the local man.
