A police officer from the Police Station in Warta Bolesławiecka spotted a man he knew riding a scooter. The officer knew that the two-wheeler's driver was subject to a lifetime court ban on driving any motor vehicles.
The banned driver was arrested and brought before the District Court in Bolesławiec under an accelerated procedure, where he heard the sentence: six months' imprisonment without suspension.
The extremely irresponsible man must also pay PLN 5,000 to the Fund for Assistance to Victims and Post-Penitentiary Assistance. (What's more, during the inspection of the 28-year-old, it turned out that his two-wheeler was not approved for road use).
