Premiere of a Shakespeare Play Directed by Bolesławiec Native Błażej Biegasiewicz

Today’s premiere is the first production by Teatr Modrzejewskiej at the Piekary Stage in fourteen years

Błażej Biegasiewicz, a graduate of the Directing for Drama Department at the Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków and of cognitive science at Jagiellonian University, is the recipient of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage’s Grand Prize at the 11th Young Directors’ Forum for the play “Fathers” (2021).

It is worth emphasizing that the director comes from Bolesławiec, where he has previously presented his work, including the play “Insomnia,” performed by Teatr Dwunastu Rzędów. His mother is Katarzyna Biegasiewicz-Mularczyk, a well-known former Telewizja Bolesławiec journalist in Bolesławiec.
