Two animated films will have their nationwide premiere this coming Friday, also in Bolesławiec. The Disney film for children “Mothers in the Tentacles of Mars,” shown in 3D, and an animation based on the controversial Polish comic for adults, “Jeż Jerzy.” – When creating the monthly programme, we try to satisfy the tastes of good-cinema enthusiasts, but we do not forget about good commercial titles – says Iwona Bojko, deputy director of BOK-MCC. – Recently, nationwide premieres have appeared in our programme very frequently. This is thanks not only to successful negotiations with distributors, but also to viewers who have taken a liking to our cinema.

Both premieres promise to be very appealing. Disney’s latest production is a treat for fans of 3D cinema. The special effects were created directly on the film set, rather than after filming was completed, as with most productions of this kind. “Jeż Jerzy” has both good reviews and an excellent cast. In addition to Borys Szyc (Jeż Jerzy), we will hear Maria Peszek (Yola), Maciej Maleńczuk (the prostitute Lilka), and rappers Sokół from WWO (Stefan) and Bilon from Hemp Gru (a prisoner) in the film.

Iwona Bojko invites everyone to the cinema every day. – In a few days, we will be showing “Suicide Room,” a film about teenagers addicted to the Internet – says Bojko. – We also recommend our new “Morning Encore” series. The titles are offered at a fixed, low price. This month we will screen the European production “Mia and the Miggies.” I myself am a fan of the weekly meetings at DKF. So I send my greetings to all viewers who search for films with a universal message every Monday and love art cinema.
