Police officers from the SPPP in Legnica, while on duty in Bolesławiec, detained a 42-year-old resident of our county who got behind the wheel of a passenger Seat despite court bans. What is more, he was drunk, with more than 1.5 promille of alcohol in his system.

Officers: – When checking the police systems, the officers established that the man had got behind the wheel despite having a dual lifetime court ban on driving all motor vehicles.

The 42-year-old was detained and taken to the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, and after sobering up, to court.

For the crimes he committed, he received a sentence of 8 months’ imprisonment without suspension, a lifetime ban on driving all motor vehicles, a payment of PLN 10,000 to the Fund for Victims and Post-Penitentiary Assistance, and forfeiture of the passenger Seat, worth approximately PLN 2,000, to the State Treasury.

The man must also cover the court costs. Police:
