Statement by the Parents’ Council of the Complex of General and Vocational Education Schools in Bolesławiec on the school renovation
"As representatives of the Parents’ Council of the Complex of General and Vocational Education Schools in Bolesławiec, we would like to assure the entire school and local community that the ongoing renovation of the school building’s façade is being carried out safely and in accordance with the applicable regulations.
We understand the concerns of some parents; we ourselves are parents of students in classes 3 and 4, and we know nothing about the initiative concerning a complaint about the impact of the renovation work on students’ health and comfort. Based on information obtained from teachers, students and school employees, we would like to emphasise that all necessary safety measures have been implemented. The construction work is being carried out exclusively outside the building, and the school is making every effort to minimise any potential inconvenience.
We fully support the actions of the school management and the body responsible for running the school, because renovating the building is essential to improving learning conditions and student safety. To put it more vividly, safety will improve once the renovation is complete—the façade will be safe, and in terms of appearance, the building will look aesthetically pleasing, meaning that students will be happy to enter the renovated school. We appreciate the transparency and openness of the school management in providing information about the progress of the renovation, as well as the precautionary measures taken.
We encourage all parents to cooperate and direct any questions straight to the school management, which remains open to dialogue and willing to clarify any concerns. Together, let us ensure the best possible conditions for our children.
At the same time, we emphasise that the renovation schedule depends on the regulations of the body responsible for running the school and on the deadlines of the renovation companies, which may make it necessary to adjust the project completion timeline.
We ask for your continued cooperation and understanding, bearing in mind the long-term benefits of the work being carried out.
