Update

As reported by the Bolesławiec police:

Yesterday afternoon, as a result of operational activities, Bolesławiec police officers detained a resident of Legnica suspected of aggressive behaviour and using a pneumatic weapon on 6 March in Bolesławiec. Proceedings involving the detainee are ongoing.

The incident occurred on 6 March, at approximately 2:00 p.m., on Wesoła Street in Bolesławiec. As reported by The Bad Bunzlauer:

(…) driving against the flow of traffic, he rudely forced his way through, drove behind the car practically on its bumper, then stopped in the middle of the intersection, blocked our way and got out of the car. He was extremely vulgar and aggressive. He pulled out a weapon and fired, shattering the window, and of course… fled. Apparently, while fleeing, he damaged other cars.

We asked the Bolesławiec police about the case. For now, officers are not revealing details. It is known, however, that the person involved was driving a van. When another driver pointed out to him that he had forced the right of way, he reacted aggressively.

The officers established that the aggressor verbally attacked the aforementioned driver and deliberately damaged his car. The police do not currently confirm that the man from the van actually had a weapon or that a shot was fired.

Steps aimed at detaining the suspect are ongoing.

We will return to the subject.
