Officers from various units of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, working with officers from the Drug Crime Division of the Lower Silesian Police Headquarters in Wrocław and supported by the Wrocław SPKP, carried out an operation aimed at combating drug-related crime. – As a result of operational activities, four people suspected of introducing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances into circulation were detained. In order to prevent the destruction of evidence of crimes, immediately after the arrests the officers thoroughly searched premises used by the suspects at various locations in Bolesławiec County – reports Asp. Sgt. Łukasz Dutkowiak from the Wrocław Police Headquarters.

At the home of a person distributing drugs, the officers seized a weapon, nearly 30 different mobile phones, scales used to portion substances, and cash in Polish and foreign currencies. They also seized various containers containing methamphetamine and marijuana. Spokesperson: – At the next location, two people, a woman and a man, were detained. They also possessed numerous mobile phones, a scale and two types of drugs.

And adds: – Items and substances confirming the sale of drugs were also seized from another person. The perpetrators also stored drugs in basement rooms.

Four people suspected of drug trafficking were detained, and methamphetamine and marijuana totaling nearly 9,000 retail doses were seized. The suspects are residents of Bolesławiec County aged between 35 and 52.

Property belonging to the suspects, including vehicles, cash and other valuable items, was secured to cover potential future penalties.

All those detained were brought before the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, where they were charged with possessing and supplying— for financial gain—significant quantities of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances to other people. In addition, one of the men will answer for possessing a weapon without the required permit

At the request of the District Prosecutor in Bolesławiec, the court ordered one of the men to be held in pre-trial detention for three months. The remaining three suspects were placed under non-custodial preventive measures. Those suspected of drug-related crimes face between 1 and 10 years in prison.

Moreover, during the operation another man was detained. He possessed drugs and was wanted by the District Court in Bolesławiec to serve a prison sentence for crimes against the family.
