Update 2025-03-05

Warning, this may have been the dog in question:

Reader:

I am asking for help publicizing the issue of large, aggressive dogs being allowed to roam freely. In the town square in Bolesławiec, I was attacked along with my small dachshunds.

She reports:

A large dog ran up to me and grabbed my dachshund by the throat. I do not know how I managed to pull him away and drive the aggressive dog off for a moment.

It then lunged at our reader, who was holding the injured dog in her arms. The woman said: – I do not know how to establish whose dog it is; the owner should receive a severe punishment for biting and attacking my dog and me. I came home covered in blood.

She described the aggressor as follows: – The dog was a large, light-brown mongrel, roaming freely in the middle of the city.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning, near Prusa Street. The incident was reported to the Bolesławiec Municipal Guard. We will return to the subject.
