On February 16, 2025, at 6:06 p.m., the KSRG Różyniec Volunteer Fire Department unit was dispatched to a road accident on the 57th kilometer of the A4 motorway toward Wrocław. Upon arrival, it turned out that two passenger cars were involved in the incident, carrying three people in total. One of them was injured and transported to hospital by the Medical Rescue Team.
In addition to OSP Różyniec, units from JRG Bolesławiec, OSP Krzyżowa and OSP Tomaszów Bolesławiecki were operating at the scene. The Police and services responsible for road management were also present. The firefighters’ and rescuers’ activities primarily involved securing the scene, assisting the injured and restoring traffic flow on this section of the motorway. After the intervention ended, the participating services continued their work, and traffic on the A4 was eventually restored to normal.
