Police officers from the Police Station in Karpacz detained a 43-year-old homeless man suspected of violating court bans, making criminal threats and damaging property. Police headquarters:

As officers established, the 43-year-old not only used violence against his relatives, but also knowingly violated a court order prohibiting him from approaching and contacting his mother. Despite previous decisions by the justice system, the man continued to harass his family, causing them to fear for their own safety.

The officers add:

This was not the 43-year-old’s first aggressive act. As officers established, on 4 February this year, the man damaged property belonging to one of his family members. As a result of his actions, the floor and doors were damaged, and the losses were estimated at PLN 5,000. After his arrest, the aggressor was taken to police custody, where he was charged with a total of five offences, including criminal threats, violation of a court order and property damage.

Moreover, he committed these offences while a repeat offender, which means that the court may impose a more severe sentence.

At the prosecutor’s request, the court remanded the aggressor in custody for three months.
