The man reported the incident himself and waited for the police to arrive. He said that he had committed the murder using a hammer and a knife.
As established during the examination of the scene, the aforementioned mother had indeed suffered numerous blunt-force injuries to the head and stab wounds to the chest.
Robert M. was questioned as a suspect and confessed to committing the crime. He explained that he had been thinking about killing his mother for some time. Prosecutor’s office: – He was afraid that he would not be able to cope with caring for her in the future.
He struck the woman on the head with a hammer at least six times and then stabbed her in the chest several times.

As established, the woman was ill, but not bedridden. She was independent and did not require any care on a daily basis. She managed everyday matters without difficulty. The suspect had returned to Poland permanently from abroad several months earlier and moved in with his mother. He was unemployed. He had a very good reputation among the neighbors.
At the prosecutor’s request, the court placed Robert M. in temporary detention for three months.

After the suspect was informed of the charge and questioned as a suspect, the prosecutor will decide whether to submit a request to the court for temporary detention, among other reasons because the man permanently resides outside the country.
