The incident occurred on 13 January this year in Niwnice. – Police officers were called to the scene following a report concerning a man who was sitting on the roadside, posing a threat to road traffic – explains junior aspirant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. – During an attempt to establish contact and clarify the situation, the man began insulting the officers and then violated their bodily integrity by kicking a policewoman.
As the 50-year-old resident of Lwówek County is a repeat offender, he was detained and placed in a police cell, and then brought before the court under expedited proceedings. The decision: two months of pre-trial detention.
