On January 14, at approximately 7:10 a.m., the duty officer of the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters was informed that three artillery shells, five other types of ordnance and 23 fuses from World War II had been found in a forest in Piechowice.
Police officers: The site was secured until the bomb-disposal specialists from the military unit in Bolesławiec arrived by Jelenia Góra police officers, including the mine and bomb-disposal reconnaissance team from the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters.
