As reported by faktytvn24.pl:
Los Angeles County is on fire. These are fires on an unprecedented scale. The homes of the poor and the wealthy are burning, including those of Hollywood stars. Many have literally lost everything.
One such person is Polish woman Rita Ciołek, who found Bolesławiec ceramics in the ruins of her home:
This is a gift I received from my mother and sister. From my mother, who is no longer alive. They sent it to me for my thirtieth birthday, about twenty years ago. I had this set for twenty years.
She also said in a conversation with a TVN reporter: – I’m glad I saved these Bolesławiec cups. They will be a keepsake of this house and of the life I had here.
She also stressed that she hoped she would be able to rebuild the house in the same place.
