Wrocław University of Science and Technology has received over PLN 21 million to establish the Clinical Research and Translational Medicine Support Center. Importantly, the project involves two hospitals in Wrocław and one in Bolesławiec—the Szpital św. Łukasza.

As reported by rynekzdrowia.pl: Thanks to the investment, patients will have the opportunity to participate in major international clinical trials.

The Clinical Research and Translational Medicine Support Center itself will become part of the Polish Clinical Research Network. According to rynekzdrowia.pl, this network is to provide patients with “access to modern forms of treatment, improved health and quality of life, while maintaining the highest global safety standards. Thanks to the investment, patients from the region and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to participate in major international clinical trials and innovative potential therapies without having to leave the country”.
