As we read on the social media profile of Joanna Świder, mayor of Nowogrodziec:
On December 31, 2024 (New Year's Eve), the Municipal Office in Nowogrodziec will be open from 7:30–13:00.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
The municipal leader added:
New Year's Eve without the noise—let's choose silence and care!
New Year's Eve is a time of fun for us, but for our animals it is a real challenge. Loud fireworks explosions cause them stress and panic.
Let's give up noisy fireworks and choose other ways to joyfully welcome the New Year! Together, we can make this night calmer and safer—for animals, people and the environment.
May 2025 begin with care, harmony and mutual understanding!
