Pedestrian crossings within the intersection of Chrobrego Street and Polna Street in Bolesławiec are used by people who go, among other places, shopping at Lidl. According to readers, it is dark and dangerous there during the autumn and winter. In the evenings and at night, especially during rainy weather, pedestrians entering the crossings are barely visible, and it is only a matter of time before an accident occurs there.
Our reader Piotr, among others, drew attention to the problem and wrote:
The pedestrian crossings on Chrobrego Street should be better lit, especially the one by the hotel on the Lidl side. When driving from below, you cannot see at all whether someone is standing there or not. The same applies to the other side of the intersection. The street lighting is arranged completely incorrectly. The crossing by the hotel is completely dark.
