On behalf of the Mayor of Nowogrodziec, Joanna Świder, we inform you that, as of 6 December 2024, Ms Aneta Polak is suspended from performing the duties of Principal of the Primary School in Gościszów.
By decision of the Mayor, as of 6 December 2024, Ms Izabela Pawłowska will assume the duties of Principal of the Primary School in Gościszów.
The measures taken are intended to ensure the continuity of the institution’s operations and maintain high educational and organisational standards. We ask for understanding and support during this transitional period.

Aneta Polak, principal of the primary school in Gościszów, refused three times to accept an inspection by the Education Office. It was only after intervention by Mayor Joanna Świder that the principal accepted the inspection on 5 December. We wrote about this in the article School principal avoids inspection. Parents and teachers versus the school principal, Aneta Polak assured readers that the school was functioning very well and that the inspection by the Education Office, which was being conducted at the institution, would turn out favourably for her. Moreover, Aneta Polak expressed certainty that the Mayor of Nowogrodziec would not dismiss her and that the whole matter would gradually die down.
