On 6 December, the ceremonial opening of the modernized sports hall at the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych in Bolesławiec took place. The event was attended by numerous students and teachers, together with the school’s headteacher Renata Paszko and Bolesławiec County Starost Tomasz Gabrysiak.

As reported by Bolesławiec County:

The modernization of the sports hall was an important step toward improving sports infrastructure. As part of the investment, financed by Bolesławiec County with PLN 312,192.90, design documentation was prepared and comprehensive painting work was carried out. A sports floor was also installed, significantly improving the conditions for practicing various sports. In addition, modern equipment and furnishings were purchased to serve students during their everyday training and sporting competitions.

In his speech, the Bolesławiec County Starost emphasized the importance of investing in education and sport, noting that appropriate sports infrastructure has a key impact on students’ development and health. “I am pleased that today we can put into use a modern sports hall that will be a place not only for learning sports, but also for spending time together, integration and building team spirit,” he said.

He concluded: – The new sports hall is certainly not only an investment in infrastructure, but also in the future of young people, who, thanks to such facilities, have an opportunity to develop their sporting passions and talents.
