A reader called us about the Kraszowice–Ocice road:
If the tender is only happening now, this road will not be built within the next six months, or even a year.
He added that residents of the villages near Bolesławiec do not want both Bolesławiec and the surrounding localities to become gridlocked, as happened two weeks ago, when a pile-up occurred on the A4. (Seven vehicles collided at the time, and one person died).
As the Bolesławiec Municipality recently reported:
We are all waiting for this project. The breach that formed on the county road is severely disrupting the daily lives of residents of nearby localities. The damaged section of road is a key element of the local transport network, essential for the proper functioning of transport in the county.
At many meetings, residents asked about repairing the road, emphasized its importance and requested intervention from the County Office. We have good news: a decision has been made to announce a tender for the reconstruction of the damaged section of road, which will once again connect Ocice with Kraszowice.
Deadline for submitting bids: 5 December 2024, 9:15 a.m.
We have determined that the tender is to be decided next week. The details of this highly important project will then become known.
