The incident occurred on Tuesday, 3 December, in the late morning, in Lwówek Śląski. The Emergency Notification Centre dispatcher received a report that a man had lost consciousness in the street. As reported by lwowecki.info:
Due to the lack of an available emergency medical team nearby, two fire service units from the Fire and Rescue Unit in Lwówek Śląski were dispatched to the scene. The Commander of the State Fire Service in Lwówek Śląski also went to the scene. Municipal guards also took part in the operation.
An emergency medical team from Bolesławiec also arrived at the scene. The 58-year-old man was taken to hospital.
