After receiving information overnight about a break-in at a container used by a construction company, the duty officer at the Bolesławiec Police unit immediately sent a patrol to the scene.

Information about the description of one of the perpetrators, together with a thorough search of the nearby area by police officers, led to the arrest of two people suspected in the case. In the vehicle in which the men were travelling, the officers secured items confirming their connection with the crime; among other things, objects from the container were found in the 29-year-old's backpack.
Further investigative work led to the recovery of the remaining power tools, worth a total of 4,000 złoty, which had been stolen by the burglars.
The suspects are residents of Bolesławiec, aged 29 and 31. Both were charged with burglary, for which they face up to 10 years in prison.
