Officers from the Patrol and Intervention Unit of the Bolesławiec police headquarters stopped a vehicle for inspection. It was driven by a resident of Zgorzelec County.

The 31-year-old had been driving a car despite a three-year court-imposed driving ban issued by the District Court in Żagań, effective since April 2024. In addition, the man has had his driving privileges revoked.

Breaking a court-imposed driving ban carries a penalty of up to 5 years in prison.
