Prime Minister Donald Tusk signed orders extending the validity of three alert levels until February 28, 2025.
- BRAVO-CRP (alert level 2) – applies throughout the country – Order No. 134 of November 26, 2024;
- BRAVO (alert level 2) – applies throughout the country – Order No. 135 of November 26, 2024;
- BRAVO (alert level 2) for Polish energy infrastructure located outside the borders of the Republic of Poland – Order No. 136 of November 26, 2024.
Alert levels are primarily a signal to the services to be ready to act.
BRAVO-CRP is the second of four alert levels specified in the Act on Anti-Terrorist Activities. This means that public administration is required to conduct increased monitoring of the security status of information and communication systems.
The BRAVO alert level (the second on a four-level scale) is introduced when there is an increased and foreseeable threat of a terrorist incident. This means that the services have information about a potential threat and, consequently, public administration is required to exercise particular vigilance.
