At Piłsudski Square in Bolesławiec, a Point of the Academy of Civil Protection and Civil Defence (OLiOC) will operate. Residents will receive information and practical guidance on responding in emergency situations. The point will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..

During the meeting, participants will learn what the various alarm signals mean and how to respond properly when a threat arises. The organizers will also present the principle of “Three Steps to Safety”: recognize the signal, check the announcement and determine the appropriate response.

Another topic will be the evacuation backpack. Participants will learn what it should contain and how to adapt its contents to their own needs.

There will also be information about shelter locations and where to find verified information in the event of a crisis.

This knowledge may prove particularly important when events develop quickly and there is little time left to make the right decision.

The National Response Training will take place on August 29 at OLiOC Academy Points throughout Poland. The event is organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in cooperation with local governments and services.
