Firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
Numerous resources were deployed at the scene, including two aerial ladder trucks and a water tanker.
When the first units arrived, fire was consuming most of the attic. Fortunately, the residents evacuated on their own. The building’s frame construction made effective operations difficult. Unfortunately, the building could not be saved.
And they add:
Large amounts of water were used, the electrical power supply was disconnected, and the roof covering and partition walls were dismantled to reach all sources of the fire. The operations lasted more than 6 hours.

The incident occurred on Friday morning in Nowa Wieś. The emergency services were dispatched to a house fire.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Present at the scene were, among others, 6 fire service units, the police, Mayor Joanna Świder and a representative of MGOPS.
Traffic on the Nowa Wieś–Osiecznica road is disrupted and is moving in alternating directions.
The police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. As we have established, the authorities of the Gmina Nowogrodziec have assured that they will help the affected family.
